For every Dromos we present the notation (always from C, for easy comparison), the intervals between the notes and its diatonic chords. You can also hear how it sounds, and see its other names and how it relates to other Dromoi.

Matzore

Also known as: Major, Ionian, Rast*

*Several sources treat Rast as identical to Matzore, which is probably the more correct view. We present them as separate Dromoi here because that seems to be the more widespread practice.

Also known as: Phrygian, Kiourdi*

*The laiko Dromos we call Ousak is actually a closer match to the makam Kürdi than to the makam Ushshak. We use the name Ousak here because it is the prevailing one, the one used in practice.
